If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back in Blaine, MN, join us for the Stepping Up 4 Hope Walk—a 1.5 mile community event raising awareness and support for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in Anoka County.
Hosted by Chain of Lakes Church, this walk brings together individuals, families, and neighbors from Blaine, Coon Rapids, Andover, Spring Lake Park, Brooklyn Park, and surrounding communities to take a simple step toward real impact.

Supporting Local Organizations in Anoka County
This walk directly benefits two organizations making a difference every day:
HOPE 4 Youth
HOPE 4 Youth provides essential services for young people ages 16–24 experiencing homelessness in the northern Twin Cities.
They offer:
- Food and basic needs
- Support services
- Safe shelter
- A pathway forward
Their transitional housing program, Hope Place, provides space for 22 young people to move from homelessness to stability.
Stepping Stone Emergency Housing
Stepping Stone is the only licensed single adult shelter in Anoka County, serving young adults in need of safe housing and support.
They provide:
- Shelter and stability
- Counseling and case management
- Resources to help residents move forward
